Wild Meadow Hand Dyed Denim Vest

Wow...did we have a blast re-creating this jean jacket into a very rock n'roll inspired vest.  Loads of attitude and very original! Great piece for layering or giving your outfit a bit of attitude. 

This vest took a week of solid reworking including multiple steps to achieve the very awesome dyed contrasting look to it. All the original metal buttons were tediously replaced and hand stitched with a mash up of Vintage buttons dating from the 1950's and up.

The applique on the back of this piece is so fun! The applique patch on the back in a vintage fabric from the 1950's with the coolest print of an old ship sailing the deep blue sea! Sure to rekindle the flower free lovin' spirit in everyone <3

Do keep in mind that a denim vest looks best open with a layered look and is a great way to make those super formal frilly frocks day wear worthy.
