Saffron P. Trench
That's Mr.s Saffron P. Trench to you! :)
One part trench, one part box cut, add a two tone contrast of plaid on a plush textured knit and VOILA you have one seriously hip jacket.
The light taupe colored contrast with the bold plaid monochrome plaid print is a vintage washed canvas cotton and the lining is a crazy, many shades of Ochre, 1960's geometric, Picasso inspired (that's what it looks like to me) vintage printed nylon. The main saffron colored body is a plush acrylic-wool blend knit.
You can wear the asymmetrical collar buttoned up high or leave is folded down., since the fabrics has got great structure.
There are 3 tan vintage leather covered buttons as closures on the front and 2 tiny buttons holding down the contrast box pleat on the back. Oh did I mention pockets?! YES! :)
Also keep in mind buttons on the front of the jacket can be taken off and re-positioned so that the jacket can close more or less in the front if more or less room is needed in the torso. I have made this very simple adjustment for my clients in the past. Super easy.
